Lost and Found: Young Girl’s Autograph Book from 1970

My friends know how much I like collecting oddities and so Mr & Mrs Stickwell very kindly bought me this lovely autograph book:

Autographs001

I thought it would be nice for me to collect autographs in but in fact it’s already used.  Apparently it used to belong to a young lady called Julia Page who probably went on to music school in the early seventies.  I’ve scanned some of the contents but I’ve not included any of the addresses, although the majority of those who provided addresses were from Streatham, Manchester, Ramsgate and Sheffield.  It’s funny how innocent the contents appear today.  Here they are, just for fun:

Sorry, Sarah, looks like that devil Jane Peacock was the last in the book…

About tinynoggin

I love films (anything from exploitation stuff to stylish Eastern European cinema, but I'm not really into blockbusters and modern Hollywood), music (Serge Gainsbourg, Jane Birkin, Michel Polnareff, Left Banke, Francoise Hardy, The Seeds, Love, The Zombies, etc) and books (Kurt Vonnegut, Julian Maclaren-Ross, Michel Houellebecq, Patrick Hamilton, Alan Sillitoe, and more). I take photographs with my Lomography Diana F plus or my Olympus Trip and like making stuff in my spare time.
